Bring your client list from Jobber, ZenMaid, Housecall Pro or a spreadsheet. Run one crew on TRASHCAN first, and move the rest when you’re ready.

Export your clients
In your current system, find the export or download option on the clients list and save it as a CSV. A spreadsheet works too.

Import them here
Open Clients, choose Import clients and pick the file. We match the columns, then show you what will be added and what will be skipped, before anything happens.

Run one crew first
Move a single crew or a few weekly clients onto TRASHCAN. Keep everything else where it is until you trust it.

Move the rest when you’re ready
Add your recurring cleans, connect your Stripe account for card payments, and switch the remaining crews over on your schedule.

- Card details can’t be copied between systems. Clients add a card the first time they pay.
Questions
Will my clients get emails or texts when I import them?
No. Importing adds them quietly. Nobody is emailed or texted until you choose to message them.
What if the same person is in my file twice?
They’re added once. Anyone already in your TRASHCAN client list, or repeated in the file, is skipped and listed so you can see why.
What if a client’s phone or email is already on another TRASHCAN account?
That row is skipped. Phones and emails sign people in, so each belongs to one account.
My export has different column names.
We recognize the common ones: name or first and last name, phone, email and address columns. If something can’t be matched we tell you which part, so you can rename the header and try again.
Can I leave later?
Yes. You can export your clients, invoices, cleans, payroll, expenses and room times as spreadsheets any time.
